Climb

for Middle & Highschool Students

The Climb Program supports middle and high school youth in becoming better students and better people with a focus on post-secondary preparation and career exploration.

Preparing students for what comes next.

Branches’ Climb Program focuses on academic success in High School but also prepares and assists our students in developing the knowledge, skills and behaviors necessary for that next step after High School. The Climb Program provides a series of workshops from SAT Prep to FAFSA Nights, mentoring, youth nights, and explores all the options for a post-secondary education, from college to vocational and more.  Branches sets high expectations for our students, expecting them to graduate from High School and pursue a post-secondary education to help them achieve long-term success in life.

Through the guidance and support of caring staff and volunteers, Branches youth are able to participate in:

    • Academic Tutoring & Support
    • Life Skills Development
    • Service Projects
    • Oasis Spring Break Camp
    • Retreats
    • Climb Higher Scholarship

Branches’ Climb Higher Program provides support to all students currently pursuing a post-secondary education. Branches staff as well as Branches Student Alum/College Grads mentor our post-secondary students to ensure that they are receiving all the support they need to persevere, succeed and ultimately graduate.

Branches also provides our students with an opportunity to apply for the Climb Higher Scholarship which is designed to enable highly motivated high school graduates who have participated at Branches for at least two years to compete for college or technical/vocational scholarships. This additional support is intended to be an incentive and a reinforcement toward successful pursuit of becoming a postsecondary graduate.
